Daylight Savings Time starts on Sunday morning before the wedding, so please remember to turn your clocks back!
Our honeymoon is booked! We'll be heading to sunny Florida for seven nights of fun at Disney World and Universal Studios.
Please don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Halloween - it's Daylight Savings Time on November 1st!
The invitations were mailed out today! They were a real labor of love, so we hope that you all enjoy them!
We finally have our officiant booked, Stan Levin! He will be custom creating a ceremony for us that reflects both of our heritages.
We have finally booked our florist - the talented Bouquets by Bell out of Dundalk, MD. One more item to check off of our massive to-do list!
We have now registered at Crate & Barrel, Target, and Amazon.com. We'll continue to edit the lists as things become discontinued. We are saving for a house so, while we may not have room for everything in our small apartment, we hope to soon!
Pamela bought her wedding gown today! She won't post a picture, but it's a lovely somewhat Renaissane styled gown bought at I Do, I Do in Gaithersburg.
We've also added a few more engagement photos. Enjoy!
We just had our engagement pictures taken by the talented Michele (from Square Root of Red Photography) on Sunday, March 29 at the beautiful Glen Echo park. We'll post the pictures as soon as we get them!
Our caterer has been booked! We are using the wonderful Manor Tavern caterers and we are sure there will be lots of great food for everyone to enjoy. If you have any specific questions about the menu, feel free to ask us!
We have just hired the wonderful Heidi from Entertain Me Event Planning as our Day of Coordinator! Heidi will be the woman behind the scenes, setting up everything and making sure that our day runs smoothly. We really look forward to working with her!
So far, we've been to see two potential caterers for food tastings. We saw both of them over Valentine's weekend. We've also been to visit two florists. We might end up ordering our flowers from a florist and then making our own centerpieces, depending on the cost. We'll see what happens!
On Saturday, January 31st we booked our first vendor - the gorgeous Cloisters Castle for our ceremony and reception venue! Check out some photos of the castle taken by Stephen by clicking on "Photo Albums" on the left.
